Books I’ve Enjoyed!

Kira-Kira

I love to read!

One of my favorite books I’ve read is Kira-Kira by Cynthia Kadohata. It is the Newbery Award winner. It’s about the life of two Japanese sisters and their family in the 1950s.

Now I am reading another book from that same author called  Weedflower about another Japanese girl both are great books.by great author and I love her books.

weedfflowersmall2I sometimes find it hard to get into a book. Some suggestions are, you need to get a quiet comfortable   room with good lighting and a book you think you’ll in  enjoy .Thees are the rules that I  find the key to a good book and you’ll never put it down. What kind of books do you like and do you find it easy to get into a book.

    Hey Jaiden!
Thanks for doing a post about what you are reading. I notice that both of the books you have choosen have something to do with Japan. Do you enjoy reading about Japan? Why?

I thought your tips for reading were great too. I find that I have to turn the TV off when I’m reading or I’ll try and do both things at once. Trying to read and watch TV never really goes very well. So if I really want to remember what I read I have to turn off the electronic stuff!

I agree with you I have to have complete silence before I read or else I don’t remember what I read and get all confused . I like reading japan books because I like reading about the past and how black people where treated I find that interesting to learn how people where treated just because they where black. I all so like reading about war and sad story’s I don‘t know why but that just what I find interesting What do you like reading? and why?
